Physiotherapy Sessions

Do you have pain? Physical issues relating to your sport, creative outlet/profession or work? Or issues with movement in general?

If so, then physiotherapy could be your starting point.

A typical physiotherapy session will involve a thorough assessment to identify the physical issues contributing to your problem. Treatment might then include massage, mobilisation, dry needling or taping, with a huge focus on education, self-management and exercise (whether it be in the Pilates studio or as part of a home program). Sessions run for 40min (for new injuries) or 20min (for follow up appointments) and focus on the physical component of your problem/s. Telehealth appointments are also available. These are a great alternative to face-to-face sessions and involve the delivery of education, exercise prescription, self-management/treatment over video conferencing.

Special interests include:

  • Thoracic/rib pain
  • Lower limb – including hip/pelvis/knee and feet injuries
  • Vocal Physiotherapy (more information to come)
  • Dance and other sporting injuries
